Dear Spencer Grantee,
During this time of uncertainty, we wanted to provide some reassurances to you, our Spencer community. We recognize that daily routines have been upended; research designs, data collection, convenings and conferences have been disrupted; and collaborative work with colleagues has been challenged. Please know it’s ok not to know at this point how your research will proceed. We encourage you to take whatever time you need to take care of yourself, your family, and your community. Your grant will not be in jeopardy, and we will work together to update plans or timelines, if and when necessary. In keeping with social distancing guidelines, Spencer has shifted to remote work. However, you can still reach your Program Officer and Program Administrative leads via email with questions or concerns. Currently, our upcoming grant submission deadlines will remain the same, and we will continue our grant decision processes as scheduled.
We are so proud to be a part of a scholarly community that centers it’s work on the needs and well-being of young people, families, and communities, and we are honored to continue to do this work with you.
